Axis Bank Young Bankers Program 2015 Admission announced

Axis Bank Young Bankers (ABYB) Program is an endeavour by Axis Bank to nurture industry leaders of the future by imparting domain expertise and skill set in the field of Banking
Axis Bank Young Bankers Programme is a one year, full time residential programme which will be conducted at two training campuses, Manipal Global Education in Bangalore and Amity Global Business School in Noida
Objectives

The objective of ABYB is to create a talent pool of Young Bankers by equipping graduates with necessary banking knowldge and skills

Eligibility Criteria for ABYB Program 2015

The eligibility criteria for applying for admission are:

Age: Age limit minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years (born on or after 01st April 1990)

Qualification: Only graduates from any stream, with 55% and above in their Final year of graduation or aggregate of 55% and above in graduation
Selection Process for ABYB Program

The selection will be through a two stage selection process, which is aimed at selecting candidates who are most likely to succeed at various Branch banking roles offered by the Bank. The Bank is looking for candidates with high integrity, who are dedicated towards work, with positive attitude and good communication skills

Candidates shall be selected by Axis Bank through a selection process consisting of an online Aptitude test followed by an interview

Aptitude Test: The Aptitude test will be conducted online. The test duration will be of  2 hours (approximately)

The test will assess the proficiency of candidates in the areas of below mentioned 4 modules: Logic and reasoning skills; English language skills; Quantitative/numerical ability; Personality assessments

Bank reserves the right to hold a second stage of aptitude test (if required for any reason) at its own discretion

Personal Interview: All the applicants who successfully clear the aptitude test will be invited for a personal interview/candidates will be informed of their progress and status at each stage by email and sms
Online Test Centres:

The candidate will be required to give 1 choice of preference at the time of registration only

The Bank will endeavour to give each applicant a test venue as per his/her choice; however the Bank cannot guarantee the same

Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guwahati, Patna, Raipur Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Bangalore, Kochi, Bhopal, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Dehradun, Kolkata etc.

Stipend and Salary

Stipend: Young Bankers will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.5000/- per month for the first 9 months to meet the out of pocket expenses and Rs. 12,000/- per month during the internship towards their living expenses

Other Benefits

Medical Insurance cover of Rs 1,00,000/- is provided to the student by the bank for the duration of course

Salary: On successful completion of the course the student would be absorbed as an Assistant Manager in the Bank with a gross CTC (cost to company) of Rs 4.01 lakhs per annum
How to Apply for ABYB Program 2015

To apply you need to logon to www.axisbank.com/careers

Navigate to Home Page, by clicking “Home” tab on the navigation bar. The section for applying is displayed on the right side of the Home Page

For a New User:

Click on the “Apply for ABYB Program” tab provided

Two application forms will open up, requiring you to fill in the necessary details

On completion of application and payment of Application fees (INR 500), you will receive 2 e-mails on the registered e-mail ID you have provided

The 1st e-mail consists of the “myamcat user ID” and “password”

The 2nd e-mail confirms receipt of your application Fees

You would also receive a Unique ID which would be required to be produced during further process

Your application submission is complete
In case you are already registered with myamcat.com and have a myamcat user ID:

Directly login using your “myamcat user ID” and “password”

An application page will open up, requiring you to submit necessary details

On completion of application form, you will receive 1 e-mail on the registered e-mail ID you have provided

The e-mail confirms receipt of your application

You would also receive a Unique ID which would be required to be produced during further process

Your application submission is complete

In case you have already appeared for the AMCAT Test, you will not need to take a fresh test. Based on the eligibility criteria of the program and your Amcat score, you may be invited for the personal interview

After completion of the online registration, Application fee of Rs. 500/- (inclusive of taxes) to be paid through Demand Draft / Cash or Net Banking mode at any of the Axis Bank Branches

Have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the period of this recruitment project

In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online

Documents to keep ready before applying online - Graduation final year marksheet/ Exam Hall Ticket-2014

Size of file should be Less than 500 kb (All formats accepted except Excel format i.e.: jpg, bmp, jpeg, pdf etc.)

Demand Draft (DD): Demand Draft number and date must be filling up in the deposit slip

The demand draft must be in favor of “Axis Bank Young Bankers” payable at Bangalore
