University of Calicut notifies MA Sociology admission 2015

Applications are invited by University of Calicut, Malappuram for admission to Master of Arts (M.A) in Sociology program in Department of Sociology (Self-Financing Stream) for the academic session 2015

Eligibility Criteria for University of Calicut MA Sociology admission 2015:

Candidates should have any UG degree of Calicut University or equivalent degree with at least 45% marks for part III (excluding subsidiaries)

For OBC/OEC candidate’s relaxation is up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass

How to Apply for University of Calicut MA Sociology admission 2015:

Candidates can obtain the application form from www.universityofcalicut.info

Application form shall be downloaded from the university website. Please see the link ‘fee remittance’ in the Admission Website (www.cuonline.ac.in) or the link ‘instant web payment system’ in the Official Website of the University (www.universityofcalicut.info) for remitting fee

A fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST Rs.100/-) shall be remitted to Calicut University Fund (Select the purpose ‘Application Fee for M.A. Sociology 2015-16′) by e-payment (SBT online/Friends/Akshaya e-chalan)

The candidates shall send the filled in application and the e-chalan receipt (SC/ST candidates shall also attach a copy of the community certificate along with the application form) to Dr. N.P. Hafiz Mohamad, Co-ordinator, Department of Sociology, University of Calicut, P.O. Calicut University-673635 on or before 17th August 2015

The Co-ordinator, Department of Sociology is authorized to conduct admission as per University rules
