ICFAI University Dehradun announces BEd admission 2015

ICFAI University, Dehradun has invited applications for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program commencing on 3rd August 2015.

The B.Ed Program

The B.Ed Program is designed to develop tomorrow’s leaders in the field of education.

Faculty of Education, the ICFAI University and Dehradun was established in 2006 to promote quality education, research, training and consultation in teaching & training with a global perspective to meet the challenges of the fast changing trends in the field of Education

Faculty of Education aims at developing a new cadre of teaching professionals through a rigorous 2-year full-time program

The B.Ed Program of the Faculty of Education, the ICFAI University, Dehradun has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 15th July 2015

Admission Test: 22nd July 2015

Display of Final Result: 24th July 2015

Reporting and Registration: 30th July 2015

Commencement of Classes: 03rd August 2015
ICFAI University Dehradun BEd Admission Eligibility:

Student with a pass in Graduation/Post Graduation with at least 50% (Both in Hindi/English Medium) is eligible to apply for the program. Students who have appeared for the final year Graduation/Post-Graduation exam are also eligible to apply.

The admission of those applicants however will be considered provisional until they submit their final mark sheet to the dept., the last date for submitting the proof of Graduation/Post graduation mark sheet is 1st October 2015, failing which the provisional admission will automatically be considered as cancelled.

The University accepts the test scores of B.Ed Admission test conduct by other universities also, subject to the regulations of the ICFAI University, Dehradun

All candidates are interviewed prior to their admission in the B.Ed program of the University
Admission Test and Interview for ICFAI University Dehradun BEd Admission 2015

The selection of applicants for all programs is made through application and interview.

All applicants aspiring for the admission in the B.Ed program of the ICFAI University have to appear for the written test of two hours duration.

The admission test mainly meant to test the aptitude, General Knowledge, General English as well as the proficiency in the respective disciplines of the candidates.

Date of Test: 22nd July 2015 (10.00 am - 12.00 noon)

Location of the Test: Center Dehradun and Haldwani-(Uttarakhand)

Reporting Time: 09.30 am

After filling it up, you are required to send along with a demand draft of Rs.300/- drawn in favor of "The ICFAI University, Dehradun-Fee Collection A/c" payable at Dehradun to "The Admission Officer, Faculty of Education, the ICFAI University", Dehradun Rajawala Road, Central Hopetown Selaqui, Dehradun-248011 (Uttarakhand)
Submission of Documents:

The duly attested Xerox copies of the following documents must be submitted at the time of an interview:

(a) Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary School Certificate having date of Birth (b) Mark sheets of all the years and degree/s of the Graduation/Post Graduation (c) Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned authority (d) Migration/Transfer certificate from the University last attended Check list for documents at the time of Registration (e) Two passport size photographs (f) Certificate of date of birth (g) Mark sheets of qualifying exams (h) Domicile certificate (for domicile students of Uttarakhand)
