Eligibility for VIT University B.Arch Admission 2015

Candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education alone are eligible to apply

i) Total aggregate of 70% marks in 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject of examinations at the 10+2 level (And);

ii) Candidates must have a minimum of 40% marks i.e., 80/200, in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA)
Admission Process for VIT University B.Arch Admission 2015

The candidates admitted to 1st year of a 5-year course without passing an Aptitude Test in Architecture and who have been granted B.Arch degree or other qualifications shall not be deemed to have attained recognized qualification
Selection Process for VIT University B.Arch Admission 2015

Selection is based on merit. Marks secured in higher secondary school examination and eligible NATA score
Note: In order to pass an Aptitude Test in Architecture, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks. NATA score shall be valid for a period of two years from the year in which one appeared

How to Apply for B.Arch Admission 2015 at VIT University

Application form can also be downloaded from website www.vit.ac.in

The cost of application is Rs.950/-. Candidates can apply online at www.vit.ac.in through the Net Banking /Credit Card/Debit Card
Enclosures to be Submitted with the filled in Application Form

After filling the online application, kindly upload the X marks sheet or any age proof certificate, XII mark sheet and NATA score card

The following documents in original are required to be submitted at the time of Admissions:

a) Provisional Admission Letter (photo copy)
b) Qualifying examination mark statements of all attempts
c) Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate
d) Migration Certificate (if issued by the board)
e) Score card of NATA; (f) Conduct Certificate
f) Community Certificate (for SC/ST only)
g) Nativity Certificate (for candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir & the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
h) Recent Passport size colour photos - 4 nos
i) Affidavit to be signed separately by Student, Parent & Hostel affidavit in Rs.20/- Stamp Paper (Format available in www.vit.ac.in)
j) Physical Fitness Certificate
k) 2 sets of photocopies of all original documents (except Affidavit & Physical Fitness Certificate)
Fees Structure

i. Tuition Fees (Including spl.fee): Rs 2,75,000/-
ii. Admission Fees (One time payment): Rs 10,000/-
iii. Caution Deposit (Refundable): Rs.3000/-

Total Fee: Rs 2,88,000/-

The refund will be made as per the norms of the UGC. All refundable deposits will be returned, after deductions if any, at the time of completion of the course or on cancellation of admission

Refund will be made only after submission of original fee receipt, Provisional Admission letter and No Dues Certificate
