Eligibility Criteria for Jain University Ph.D Admission 2015

Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree (from a recognised university) in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% (In the case of SC/ST candidates there will be a relaxation of 5%). Selection will be through an Entrance Test and Interview

Candidates who have passed UGC/CSIR/Fellowship holders shall be exempted from the Written Test; but they will need to take up the Interview

Candidates who are qualified for CA or ACS or ICWA with basic degree are also eligible to register for PhD in this category

Candidates who have qualified for Masters Degree prior to 1990-91 with no less than 50% marks are also eligible to register for PhD Program

M.Phil degree holders will get a waiver for part of the course work of PhD Program
Selection Procedure for Jain University Ph.D Admission 2015

Selection will be through entrance test and interview. Candidates who have passed UGC/CSIR/fellowship holders shall be exempted from the written test; but they will need to take up the interview

The candidate should submit his/her application to the University, in the prescribed form with a DD of Rs.1000/- INR in the favour of Jain University, payable at Bangalore, along with other necessary documents; viz., degree certificate, marks cards and such other documents prescribed along with receipt for having paid the prescribed fee. In case of employed candidates, no objection/deputation certificate from the employer, for pursuing research is necessary
