GUJARAT – PREVOYANCE TECHNICAL FEST 2011 – IIT – NIRMA UNIVERSITY

Institute of Technology was established in 1995 by Nirma Education & Research Foundation [NERF] under the leadership of well-known industrialist and philanthropist Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel. The institute is located in a 100-acre Nirma University campus, shared by five other institutes viz., Management, Diploma Studies, Pharmacy, Law & Science. With sustained and dedicated efforts the Nirma University has established itself, within less than a decade, as a premier institute in the country.

Introduction : Ladies and Gentlemen, the year-long wait is finally over for, we are back. And with the proverbial bang. And this time, it’s louder and even more widespread; for this time around we have the power communications on our side. Indeed, the theme of prevoyance’11 revolves around the “communication technologies”.

Prevoyance’11 has a plethora of events that appeal to the whole gamut of student-body: From the age-old bot-races to calligraphy with robots, from the idea presentation to business-strategy battles and from junkyard-wars to the quiz and many more on the spot events…

Lots of fun to be had and loads of prizes to be won. There shan’t be a single dull moment at Prevoyence, and the question won’t be “what to see?” but “how to see it all?” So let us open-circuit our minds and short-circuit our hearts, as we tune in with Prevoyance’11 at Nirma University on 22nd and 23rd March, 2011.

SatBot : GPS based robotics workshop. Fees 6000/- per team(of 4 members) including Prevoyance registration

Texas Instruments : Workshop on introduction to MSP430(Texas Micro controller) Fees 7600/- per team(of 4 members) including Prevoyance registration

Robotronics : An arena for robo-maniacs to fight for making a mark in an automated world. Whirl Zapper. Robography.
The Cue Club. Hot Pursuit.

Brainwave : A plateform for the smart to showcase that they are no less then so-called nerds.Competitions and quiz makes one ecstatic. COMM-on Sense. Notion-into-Motion. Tech Inc.

S.N.R.: A furnace for forging tomorrow. Bright minds showcase their talent in making a better word through the use of technology. Stock-a-block. Nerdville. Recycle Bin. Turing Tarpit. A place got “geeks” to be the fastest and the smartest in the world of programming, aworld where there are thousand others like them.
