ICFAI UNIVERSITY – BBA ADMISSION 2010 – SIKKIM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program is a 3 year full-time program offered by the University with a view to impart in-depth knowledge and broad understanding of the basics of management education. The BBA Program focuses on various areas of management education and prepares students for a career in management by enabling them to progress to MBA qualification in due course.

Eligibility :
* Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 40% and above (any discipline).
* Final year 10+2 students awaiting results.

Duration : Three years

Award : Students who successfully complete the BBA Program will be awarded the ‘Bachelor of Business Administration’ Degree by the University.

Admission Criteria : The selection of applicants into the BBA Programme is made through qualifying examination performance and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities.

Verification of Originals : For admission into the respective UG Programs, students need to produce the originals of certificates/documents for verification when they report to the ICFAI University, Sikkim, for joining the program.

Interview : The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the campus where they seek admission. This is to determine the student’s attitude and motivation to pursue the program. Original certificates and Domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of interview. The original certificates will be returned after verification. The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee at the time of the interview.

Special Reservation : There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Sikkim in any course of ICFAI University, Sikkim or in a constituent college, affiliated college, regional centre or study centre within the State of Sikkim, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course / discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above. Provided that the seats remaining unfilled in any course/ discipline then they may be filled up by allotting them to students belonging to Open Category.
