Introduction: The Institute of Distance Education was established by Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (M.P.) on 9th July 1997. Previously it was named as the Department of Correspondence Courses but later on it was renamed as the Institute of Distance Education in 2000. Prof. H.S. Sengar, the retired Head, Department of Library and Information Science of the University was the Founder Director. Since its inception the Institute has been playing a prominent role in the promotion of higher education through distance mode.

Objectives: The main Objective of the Institute To meet the growing demand for creating pool of experts in Environmental Management. To study management of natural environment in different ecological regions at macro and micro levels. To understand the management of human environment both in rural and urban areas. To identify the problems of environmental pollution in different habitat and to study modern scientific methods for its checking and improvement.

Eligibility : Graduation.
Annual Course Fee : Rs. 6000/-

Duration : One Year

Application Procedure: The interested persons may request for obtaining the Prescribed application form and the syllabus of the concerned course to the Director, Institute of Distance Education, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, SAGAR (M.P.) 470 003 by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of “Registrar, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar” along with a self-addressed envelope (9″x5″ size) with postal stamps of Rs. 32/- affixed on it. No Agent or Institute is authorised to collect fee in cash on our behalf. Application form can also be downloaded from our www.idesagaruniv.com and should be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- in favour of Registrar.
