IIA – AIRCRAFT MAINTENENCE ENGINEERING ADMISSION 2009 – GURGAON
Introduction: In Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics admission is given to boys and girls from India and abroad irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or community.
Eligibility: The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Three year diploma with 50% marks in any branch of engineering.
Admission Procedure: Students seeking admission to Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics may obtain prospectus of the Institute from the Institute office on payment of Rs. 500/ (Rupees Five Hundred only) in cash or by sending demand draft for Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) by post in favour of “Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics, Gurgaon” payable at Gurgaon. Application for admission should be sent to The Director, Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics, Behind Aapno Ghar, Sector-77, NH-8 , Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Gurgaon 122001, Haryana. It could also be submitted in the office of the Institute personally on any working day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
How To Apply: Attested copy of the marks list of 10+2 Examination. Certified copy of the certificate/document showing Date of Birth of the applicant. Medical certificate from a recognized medical practitioner with minimum MBBS qualification certifying that the candidate has no physical disability and the color vision is normal. Format of this certificate is enclosed with the Prospectus. Character certificate from the Head of the Educational institution last attended. Four passport size photographs. Foreign national students will also have to submit the following documents:- No objection certificate from the Ministry of Human Resource Development New Delhi. The prescribed form will be given to the student after admission. The Institute will take necessary steps to help the student in getting N.O.C. Equivalence certificate in respect of educational qualification obtained from A.I.U. Passport and visa in original.
Written Test / Interview and Aptitude Test: If a candidate is found eligible he/she will be called for written test and/ or interview and aptitude test. Syllabus for written test will be based on the syllabus of 10 + 2 (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and general ability questions. The candidates will bring with them original documents. Result of the written test/ interview will be declared on the same day or on some other date which will be communicated to the applicant. Selected candidates will be directed to deposit fees by the date given in that letter. When the fees have been deposited the candidate will be issued Letter of Admission. With this Letter of admission the student will report to the Director of the Institute and with the Director’s permission join the course.
