North Maharashtra University (NMU) Jalgao announces MBM admission through PGCET 2015

The North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon will conduct the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET-2015) for those candidates who want to take admission into the M.B.M. (Personal Management), M.B.M. (Computer Management) for the academic year 2015-16 at the affiliated Colleges of the University located in Dhule, Nandurbar districts

Availability of Online Information Brochure & Application Form: 01st June 2015

Last date for NMU PGCET 2015 for MBM admission 2015: 15th July 2015

Last date for Receipt of Printed Form along with DD & Necessary documents: 20th July 2015

Display of List of Eligible Candidates: 27th July 2015

Last date of Receipt of objections in Written Form: 29th July 2015

Display of Final list of Eligible Candidates: 30th July 2015

Availability of Hall Ticket online on the University Website: 31st July 2015

Entrance Exam: 10th August 2015 (Monday)

Eligibility Criteria NMU PGCET 2015 for MBM admission 2015

For appearing in the examination Candidates have appeared for Graduation or equivalent.

Specific Criteria for admission to the following courses: The specific eligibility criteria for the admission to the first year of the various post-graduate courses are as follows:

Admission Process for NMU MBM CET-2015

Read the instructions given in brochure carefully; before proceeding for filling up the admission form ensure the following:

a) You have to draw demand draft worth Rs.300/- in favour of "The Finance & Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon", the demand draft may be drawn on Nationalized banks.

Application form should be filled online on the website www.nmu.ac.in and computer generated hard copy (print out) should be submitted to the nearby ARC (Application Receipt Centre) before 20th July 2015 Along with necessary documents and application fees.

Student will have to fill up online form as available on the university website www.nmu.ac.in; a form will be generated for the students applying for CET.

Important Dates for M.Sc Admissions (CAP) 2015-16

Last date for filling Online Application Form: 27th June 2015
Last date for Receipt of Printed Application Form: 02nd July 2015
Display of Provisional Merit List: 08th July 2015
Last date for Receipt of objection of Merit List: 09th July 2015

Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP):

A Centralized Admission Procedure will be adopted for admission to First Year M.Sc Courses affliated colleges of the University in following subjects only:
M.Sc Course in Computer Science, Information Technology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Geography (M.A/M.Sc) & Electronics
Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Admissions (CAP) 2015-16

a) General Criteria: A Candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate courses offered by the affiliated colleges if he/she has secured at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA at graduation (45% marks or equivalent CGPA for backward class i.e SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC category candidates from Maharashtra State only)

In case of other University candidate, preference will be given to students having relevant principal subject at B.Sc over general

b) Specific Criteria: The specific eligibility criteria in addition to above general criteria for the admission to various post graduate courses is as follows:
1. M.Sc (Organic Chemistry), M.Sc (Inorganic Chemistry), M.Sc (Physical Chemistry), M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry), M.Sc (Botany), M.Sc (Microbiology)

Specific Eligibility: B.Sc (Chemistry) / B.Sc (Botany)/ B.Sc (Microbiology)

M.Sc (Biotehnology): B.Sc (Biotechnology); if seats remain vacant, those seats will be equally distributed among candidates with B.Sc (Microbiology/Bio-chemistry /Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) (with Biology group as subsidiary subject)

M.Sc (Information Technology): B.Sc (Information Technology); if seats remain vacant then students with BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science) will be considered for admission

M.Sc (Mathematics): B.Sc (Mathematics) or B.Sc in any other subject with Mathematics at S.Y. B.Sc level with minimum 50% marks /CGPA in Mathematics. Preference will be given to B.Sc (Mathematics)

Mode of Admission for M.Sc Admissions (CAP) 2015-16

The admission to the various courses will be made through the Spot Admission Process (SAP) to be carried out by the Admission Centre (ADMC) for that subject

Read the brochure instructions carefully; before proceeding for filling up the admission form ensure the following:
a) You have drawn demand draft worth Rs.300/- in favour of "The Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The demand draft may be drawn on Nationalized or Scheduled Banks
b) You have collected the required documents i.e. H.S.C., F.Y., S.Y., T.Y., Mark Sheet/T.C. etc.
