Applications are invited for Junior Talent Search Test (JTST) & Senior Talent Search Test (STST) for awarding JBNSTS Scholarships

Eligibility for Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Scholarships Test 2015

For Junior Talent Search Test: Students who have passed their 10th standard or equivalent examinations in 2015 with minimum 75% marks in aggregate and currently studying in 11th standard in Sciences stream (with at least any 3 subjects from Physics /Chemistry /Mathematics/Biology/Statistics /Computer Science) in any school within West Bengal

For Senior Talent Search Test: Students who have passed 10+2 examination from any board in 2015 and presently studying in 1st year B.Sc (Hons.)/ B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Stat./MBBS in any registered institute of West Bengal
Scholarship Details for Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Scholarships Test 2015

For JTST: Rs.500/- per month, for two years (during 11th & 12th class) & onetime book grant of Rs.1000/-

For STST: Rs.1000/- per month & book grant of Rs.1000/- per year till the completion of their graduation (for Engineering & Medicine students). Students of basic science will be eligible for DST-INSPIRE fellowship of Govt. of India and will get Rs 60,000/ as scholarship & Rs 20,000/- as research grant per year till completion of their master’s degree

For Junior Talent Search Test (JTST): 27th September 2015 (Sunday), 12.00 Noon - 02.00 PM

For Senior Talent Search Test (STST): 27th September 2015 (Sunday), 10.00 AM - 01.00 PM

Last Date of Application for JTST: 17th August 2015

Last Date of Application for STST: 05th September 2015

Downloadable forms are available at www.jbnsts.org or may be obtained by sending self-addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope to JBNSTS, 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kol-700107 (West Bengal)

For hard copy application, please clearly mention either JTST or STST (as applicable) on the top of the envelope

Applicant may apply online through the designated link available in our website www.jbnsts.org where a non refundable application fee of Rs.200/- (for STST) OR Rs.100/- (for JTST) may be paid through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or may be deposited at any branch of SBI after generating the challan (from internet)
