Homoeopathic Medical College Chandigarh BHMS Admission 2015

Applications are invited for 5½ years BHMS degree course in Homoeopathy including One-Year Compulsory Internship, which is recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi and is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh

Students undergo Clinical Training in various Departments in the General Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh as well as in the Hospital attached to the College

Important Dates for BHMS Course Admission 2015

Applications must reach the College by 29th August 2015 up to 04.00 pm

Counselling for these seats shall be held on 31st August 2015 at 09.00 a.m. at College by the Admission Committee

Seats Details:

There are 50 seats for admission to BHMS Course, Categorized as under:

1) General Category-33

2) Schedule Caste-08

3) Physically Handicapped-01

4) NRI-08

* i.e. 01 seat (1st preference to the candidates suffering from Locomotor disabilities of Lower Limbs between 50%-70%, 2nd preference will be given to the candidates suffering from Locomotor Disabilities of Lower Limbs between 40%-50% in case no suitable candidates from 50%-70% disability is available)

Only Indian Citizens are eligible for admission except in the NRI quota seats

Eligibility Criteria for BHMS Degree Course:

The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in April 2015 from a recognized Board "Body" Council or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Panjab University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

[Note: The candidates who have passed Common Entrance Test 2015 conducted by the Panjab University]

Every candidates seeking admission should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2015

Selection Process for BHMS Degree Course:

Admission will be made under the criteria laid down by the Chandigarh Administration/Panjab University Chandigarh

Blind (including colour blind) deaf and or dumb candidates shall not be allowed admission in the Course
