University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) - a constituent autonomous Institute is situated in campus of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra

The Institute is running four B.Tech and eight M.Tech Programs along with active research leading to PhD in Engineering and Applied Sciences. The Institute has been competitively selected as one of the 88 institutions in the country by MHRD for World Bank assisted TEQIP-II grant. The Institute has also been recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12B of UGC Act 1956
Eligibility for M.Tech Admission 2015 at UIET Kurukshetra

Applications are invited for admissions to the following M.Tech Courses as per details:

1. Electronics and Communication Engg (ECE): 18 Seats, Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in ECE or equivalent or M.Sc in Electronics or equivalent

2. Computer Engineering (CE): 18 Seats, Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in CSE or equivalent or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent or MCA

3. Software Engineering (SE): 18 Seats, Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in CSE or equivalent or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent or MCA

4. Biotechnology (BT): 18 Seats, Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech in BT or equivalent or B.Pharmacy or M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Bio-chemistry or equivalent

5. Mechanical (Industrial and Production Engg): 18 Seats, Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

6. Mechanical (Thermal Engg): 18 Seats, Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

7. Electrical Engg: 18 Seats, Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

8. Material Science and Technology: 18 Seats, Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engg. or equivalent or M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry/ Electronic Sc./Electronics/Material Science or equivalent
Admission Process for M.Tech Admission 2015 at UIET Kurukshetra

Admissions will be made first on the basis of GATE score and thereafter, for the remaining vacant seats if any, on the basis of merit of qualifying examination
How to Apply for M.Tech Courses Admission 2015 at UIET Kurukshetra

Prospectus containing Admission Application Form and details is available on the University Website www.kuk.ac.in and UIET website www.uietkuk.org

The interest candidates can apply online only and online submission of Application Forms will commence w.e.f. 03rd July 2015

The last date for submission of online Application Forms alongwith online Prospectus Fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.125/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBP candidates of Haryana) is 25th July 2015

Print out of Application Forms alongwith relevant documents should reach in the office of the Director, UIET by 30th July 2015 upto 05.00 pm in person or By Post

No separate call letter for counseling to M.Tech Courses will be sent
