Master of Computer Application (MCA)
The Centre for Computer Science and Information Technology (CCSIT) was estd by the University in the year 1996 with the aim of promoting higher learning in the field of IT and the Centres have become one of the most sought after destination of the hundreds of students aspiring for quality education in the area of Information Technology
The University offers PG in MCA & MSc Computer Sci. & Graduate Program in BSc Information Technology under the cost based scheme through its centres spreading over the five districts of the University Jurisdiction

Sanctioned Strength: 30 seats each at all Centres (except CCSIT Kuttipuram where sanctioned strength is 35)
Duration for MCA Program: 3 year (6 Semester)
Eligibility Criteria for MCA Entrance Exam Program 2015
a) Candidate should have any bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education with Computer science/Computer application/ Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering and Technology as one of the main or subsidiary subject with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA aggregate
b) A relaxation of 5% mark shall be given to SCBC and PH candidates
c) SC/ST candidates need to get only a pass in their qualifying examination
Mode of Selection: On the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University
Fee Structure: Tuition Fee - Rs 17000/- per semester; Admission Fee - Rs 10,000/-; Caution Deposit - Rs.2000/-
Conditions and Guidelines for MCA Entrance Exam 2015
Applications shall be submitted online from 09th June 2015 to 24th June 2015 midnight

A fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST Rs.100/-) shall be remitted to Calicut University Fund (Select the purpose MCA Entrance Examination 2015) by e-payment (SBT online/SBT e-chalan/Friends/Akshaya e-chalan)
The candidates shall send a print out of the application and the e-chalan receipt (SC/ST candidates shall also attach a copy of the community cerificate along with the application) to the Chief Co-ordinator, CCSIT Centre, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, PO Calicut University-673635 on or before 26th June 2015
