M.Sc Nursing Program
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/Children or dependents of Non Resident Indians
Academic: Candidates should have passed the regular Degree Course in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing) with 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
Candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from Universities other than from the Govt Universities in the State of Kerala should produce Eligibility/Equivalence Certificate for the qualifying exam from Kerala University of Health Sciences
Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the Institution a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer certifying that the candidate is fit to undergo the course
Duration: Duration of the programme shall be two years
Procedure of Selection
Admissions will be based purely on the merit of the rank list prepared on the basis of a Separate Entrance Exam under the supervision of the Admission Supervisory Committee
Admissions will be based on common single window counseling; candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of their respective ranks in the open merit list
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Programme
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/Children or dependents of Non Resident Indians
Academic: The candidate should have passed 3 or 31/2 years General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM) Course with 50% marks in aggregative from an istitution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
Candidates should have passed their Higher Secondary School Certificate Exam (12 years course), Or SSC Exam (10+2), Pre-Degree Exam (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science (Physics,Chemistry,Biology) subjects
Duration: Duration of the Programme shall be two years. Internship integrated practice is incorporated with respective practical hours in each year
B.Sc Nursing Programme
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/Children or dependents of Non Resident Indians
Academic: As per Indian Nursing Council norms, the candidates should have passed +2 class with 12 years of school-ship with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English
As per norms of Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS) for admission for B.Sc Nursing, the minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Exam (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Exam (10+2), Pre-Degree Exam (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks
Age: Applicants should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2015; no relaxation of age will be allowed
Duration: 4 years with 12 months compulsory rotating internship

Scanned copy of recent (taken after 1st January 2015) passport size colour photograph
Photograph should be taken in a white/light coloured background; the image should be in JPEG format. Maximum size for photograph 50 KB and image dimension is 120x150 px (4.23x5.29 cm)
