Patna University LL.B Entrance Test 2015 for 3 years (Three Year Semester Course)
Patna University, Patna is conducting Bachelor of Law Entrance Test for admission to LLB (Three Year Degree Course), here in after called BLET, for the session 2015-16
The admission shall be made strictly according to the merit list prepared on the basis of said entrance test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission
Eligibility for BLET-2015
Admission to LL.B Part I shall be open to candidates, having bachelor's degree in arts, science, commerce, engineering or any other discipline from a recognized university or possessing such academic qualification as is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree by Patna University with at least 45% marks in the bachelor's honours examination or 55% marks in pass course examination
Appearing candidates in final year bachelors examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance test subject to the condition that their examination results of bachelors degree must be declared before the date of admission to LL.B Part-I
Age for BLET-2015
The maximum age 30 years for general candidates and 35 years for SC/ST and OBC as on 23rd June 2015
Reservations for BLET-2015 Exam
The provisions relating to the reservation of seats in force in the state are applicable as per the provisions incorporated in the patna university admission ordinance; admission against these seats will be made on merit provided the candidate has passed the qualifying exam and appeared in the test and secured the qualifying 33% marks in BLET Exam
Appearance in the test is mandatory in order to get admission for all the candidates belonging to any category; the reserved category candidates shall have to submit a copy of the certificate mentioning that the candidate belongs to particular reserved category issued by an officer not below the rank of S.D.O.
3% seats shall also be reserved for physically disabled candidates comprising visually impaired (1 %), Hearing Impaired (1 %), Orthopedically Handicapped (1 %) and the result of such candidates shall be published alongwith General merit list
The merit list of such disabled person shall be prepared on the basis of percentage fixed separately for each category i.e. Visually impaired (1 %); Hearing impaired (1 %); Orthopedically Handicapped (1 %)
The candidates having less than 40% of disability shall not be entertained higher degree of disability shall on the first place, be the criteria of selection for admission
Seats for BLET-2015 Exam
Total No. of Seats: 320
Out of the total number of seats 55% seats are reserved for Graduates of PU & 45% for remaining applicants in order of merit including Patna University students
Medium of Entrance Test: English and Hindi
Pattern of Exam: The Entrance test will be based on objective type questions with multiple choices, comprising of 100 questions
Duration of the test: Two Hours
Admission Procedure for BLET-2015 Exam:
The admission process will take place in the college soon after declaration of Entrance Test Result as per the provisions of Regulation (Read as ordinance) Governing Centralised Entrance Test of LL.B Part I (Three Years Law Course) of Patna University 2009, approved by Hon'ble Chancellor Secretariat
At the time of admission a successful candidate must produce all original documents before the admission committee which include; High School Marksheet/Certificate; Inter or equivalent marksheet/certificate; Bachelor degree mark sheet/certificate; Caste certificate (only for reserve category candidates) issued by SDO/DM; Migration certificate (in case of other university candidate); Admit card of BLETcolour passport size photograph identical to photo of Admit card at the time of admission failing which their admission will not be considered
No admission shall be made on the basis of confidential marksheet or provisional, result/marksheet unless original marks sheet after official declaration of the results is presented to the admission committee at the time of admission
Failure to produce any of the above mentioned certificate document will result in cancellation of the candidature on the allotted seat
How to Apply for BLET-2015
The duly filled up application form along with bank draft, attested copies of all marksheet/certificate (including matric) and caste certificate be sent to the principal, Patna Law College, Ranight, P.O.: Mahendru, Patna-800006 by registrated post/speed post
The filled up application form should reach in the office of principal on or before the last date of submission of form

Date of Commencement for Sale of Application Form at Patna Law College: 16th March 2015
Last date for receipt of duly filled up application form by registered Post/Speed Post to the Principal, Patna Law College: 15th June 2015
Admit Card to be distributed at Patna Law College: 19th June to 22nd June 2015
Date of Exam (BLET-2015): 23rd June 2015 (Tuesday)
Publication of Result: 25th June 2015
Date of Commencement of Admission: 26th June 2015
