Applications are invited by National Law Institute University, Bhopal for admission to 1 year distance Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Cyber Law for the commencing session 2015
Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre, a Centre of Excellence in Cyber Law (established by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi at NLIU, Bhopal) launches One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law in order to deal with new and critical issues relating to various legal aspects of cyberspace through distance learning mode
Objectives of the Course
To familiarize students with the dynamics of Cyber Law with a focus on new forms of cybercrimes
To establish a basic knowledge on the technical side of Cyber Law
To give an update of recent Cyber Laws developments and case law
To engage with today’s Cyber Laws reality and debates
Intake
100 (Hundred) candidates may seek admission in the PG Diploma in Cyber Law (Distance Learning)
Duration
PG Diploma in Cyber Law (Distance Learning) is divided into two semesters. Each semester shall have three courses
Eligibility Criteria for NLIU Bhopal Cyber Law Admission
Candidates having bachelor’s degree in any disciplines from a recognized university or a qualification declared by the university as equivalent to it and recognized as such
Selection Procedure
Candidates shall be admitted to the course on the basis of their past academic record
How to Apply for NLIU Bhopal Admission
Application Form-cum-Information Brochure can be obtained from the University in person or on request
The request letter must be superscripted "Request for PG Diploma in Cyber Law (Distance Learning) Application form"
Application form with details is also available in the website www.nliu.ac.in
Cost of application form is Rs.500/- to be paid in cash or through demand draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of "Director, National Law Institute University, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal"
Filled-in downloaded forms must be sent in along with the DD, without which it shall be rejected; the eligible candidates shall apply for admission on the Admission Form prescribed by the University and send to the Registrar, National Law Institute University, Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal-462044
Filled application forms are to be submitted in person or through ‘Speed-Post' only
Evaluation Scheme for each paper:
i) Written Exam (Subjective Type): 80 Marks
ii) Project (On the topic of the candidate's choice): 20 Marks
Total: 100 Marks (Dissertation: 100 Marks)
Exam Centre: All the examinations /Contact programmes will be held at NLIU, Bhopal
Course Fee for NLIU, Bhopal:
i) Registration fee for the Program Rs.1500/-; ii) Correspondence Fee Rs.3000/-; iii) Tuition Fess (Rs.5000/- each semester) Rs 10,000/-
Total Fees - Rs 14,500/-
