NIIT University, a leading centre of innovation and learning in emerging areas of the Knowledge Society, invites application for the 6th Batch of full-time MBA Program. Concentration areas include Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, e-Commerce, Management of Technology and Banking
Eligibility for MBA Admission
Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) are eligible to apply for admission
Students in the final year of graduation are permitted to apply and participate in the selection process, and may be made a provisional Admissions Offer on the basis of their available academic record, to be confirmed only if their final graduation results are available by 30th June of the year
Applicants who expect their final results to be delayed beyond this date are requested to indicate expected date of results in the Application Form-in no case later than 15th October so that a specific solution for such candidates may be worked out, if possible
Selection Procedure for NIIT MBA Admission 2015
The selection process consists of an Application Form (with Statement of Purpose), an Aptitude Test, a Communication Proficiency Test, a Presentation and a Personal Interview
Candidates are assessed with respect to Academic background, Management Aptitude, Nature of Work-experience, Written and Oral Communication, Motivation & Personality Traits gauged through Application submissions and Personal Interview, and Overall Suitability
Applicants are required to appear for the NIIT University Management Aptitude Test (NUMAT); those who possess a valid score-sheet from CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT or GMAT score, are exempted from appearing for the NUMAT
The NUMAT is an online assessment of 90 minutes duration and is usually offered on the day of the other Selection activities
Applicants take the Communication Proficiency Test, make a Presentation on a specified topic, and appear for a Personal Interview (all on the same day) as the next steps in the Selection Process
Fees and Scholarships for NIIT MBA Program
The NIIT University Global Professional Scholarship (NUGPS) scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 4,50,000/- to each awardee over the 2-year MBA period, credited directly to the University and adjusted against MBA fees and charges
The Annual Fees for the NU MBA program are Rs 5,24,300/- and Rs 5,28, 800/- in Years 1 and 2 respectively; however, the fees actually paid by students of the 2015-17 batch are likely to be significantly less, in view of the NUGPS scheme described above
For students under the NUGPS scheme, the fees will be Rs 2,99,300/- and Rs 3,03,800/- in Years 1 and 2 respectively
