The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering post basic B.Sc. (nursing) programme for in-service candidates for January 2016 session. Test for admission into the programme (OPENNET-V) will be held on August 16.
The three-year course is in English medium and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, Regional Director of IGNOU S. Raja Rao said on Thursday.
Its study centre is at the Govt. College of Nursing, King George Hospital here.
Filled in application forms for the entrance test must reach the IGNOU Regional Centre, 2nd Floor, VUDA Complex , Ushodaya Junction, Sector- 12, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam-530 017 by Registered Post/Speed Post or by hand on or before July 15.
All details of the course and eligibility criteria are in the student handbook and prospectus of the course, priced at Rs. 1,000 and available at the IGNOU Regional Centre here and also at the IGNOU Study Centres at Dr. L Bullayya College, Visakhapatnam; Ideal College, Kakinada and Govt.
