IGNOU Applications for PG Courses Invited

VIJAYAWADA: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced admissions to its July 2015 semester programmes.

It is seeking applications for master’s degree programmes including MCA, MA in Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Education, Social Work, Economics, History, Political Science, etc. The last date for filing applications is August 17 and August 31 with a late fee of Rs 300 at the IGNOU regional centre in Vijayawada.

According to IGNOU regional director B Rajagopal, the university is also inviting applications for certificate programmes in Communication & IT Skills, Functional English, Teaching of English, Human Rights and other courses for which the last date is June 15 and June 30 with a late fee of RS 300.

Students’ handbook and admission prospectus are available at IGNOU regional centre in Kothapeta of Vijayawada and the other study centres in Vijayawada, Nuzivid, Machilipatnam, Nandigama, Guntur, Ongole Nellore, Sullurpet, Tirupati, Piler, Kalahasthi, Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool, Adoni and Khammam.

These can be purchased for Rs 200 in person and Rs 250 by post and submitted along with the requisite fee in the form of a demand draft to the regional centre, Vijayawada. For details, visit www.ignou.ac.in
