The selection to the Law Programs of Faculty of Law at the ICFAI University, Dehradun is highly competitive. The goal of the admissions committee is to select applicants whose academic background meet the demands of the program for a successful career. The Admissions Committee evaluates the applicants as future leaders and their projected ability to succeed and profit from these programs
BBA-LLB (Hons.) (5 years) Program
Eligibility for BBA-LLB (Hons) (5 years) Program: Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Class XII or equivalent in any discipline (best of the 5 subjects including English)
Scores of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be given weightage
Students appearing for final examinations and awaiting results are also eligible for admission
LL.B (3 years) Program
Eligibility for LLB Program: Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Graduation or equivalent (in any discipline)
Students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible for admission
LL.M (2 years) (International Law / Business Laws) Program
Eligibility for LLM (International Law/Business Laws) Program: Bachelor Degree in Law with 55% aggregate marks (or) Integrated 5 year Degree program in Law with 55% aggregate marks
If applicants are found ineligible for whatever reasons even after admission into the Program, their admission will be cancelled; all admissions will be subject to verfication of facts from the origional certificates/documents of the applicants
Admission Process at ICFAI University, Dehradun
The admission into the BBA-LLB (Hons.) (5 years), LLB and LLM Programs are made through application and interview
Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program by filling the Application Form
The University will offer provisional admissions subject to the applicants satisfying all the eligibility criteria on merit basis
The admission will be confirmed only after all the required proof of eligibility have been produced by the applicant and verified by the Admissions Office. Due weightage is given to past academic record, academic distinctions, achievements in sports and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities
How to Apply for LLB LLM Admission
Applicants interested to enroll in the Law Programs can apply by any one of the following methods:
a) Application Form: The cost of prospectus along with application material is Rs.500/-, which may be obtained by paying cash or through demand draft in favour of "The ICFAI University, Dehradun - Fee Collection A/c", payable at Dehradun
Applicants are required to fill the application form enclosed and send to the Admission Officer, Law Programs along with the documents stated therein
b) Download of Application Form: Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.iudehradun.edu.in/fol complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer, Law Programs along with the demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) towards the cost of Prospectus and Application (Demand Draft in favour of "The ICFAI University, Dehradun - Fee Collection A/c", payable at Dehradun)
Submission of Application Form: The applicants are required to complete the Application Form for Admission and submit to the Admission Officer, Law Programs through Speed-Post or Courier so as to reach on or before 08th June 2015 for Integrated BBA-LLB (Hons) and 22nd June 2015 for LLB and LLM at the following address "The Admissions Officer, Law Programs, The ICFAI University, Dehradun, Rajawada Road, Central Hope Town, Selaqui, Dehradun-248197", Uttarakhand
