Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D Program in Archaeology by University of Calcutta, Kolkata
No.of Seats: The total number of seats for admission is 5
Qualification: Post graduation from a recognized university or Institution
Selection Process:
Candidates have to appear for PhD Entrance Examination (RET); the students who have already cleared UGC Examinations (NET/SLET) will not be required to appear for the PhD Entrance (written) test
They will have to appear for the interview only
The Entrance examination will be of 75 marks (written) with 25 marks allotted for interview
Questions will be set on the basis of regular MA/M.Sc syllabus of Dept of Archaeology, Calcutta University
Reservation: Reservation of seats will be maintained in accordance with the West Bengal Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2013
