QUIMIKONZ – CHEMICAL ENGINEERING FEST 2011 – DVR COLLEGE

Our major focus would be on career development of the students by imparting necessary training to acquire and update knowledge and learn new skills through undergraduate engineering programs in Engineering & Technology with a professional focus and accent on application, ultimately to enable them to obtain employment or to be successful entrepreneurs. The emphasis will be on making theory and practice as an integrated one in the area of the disciplines with hands on experience and quality assurance. Development of methodology for educational and cultural advancement of the socially disadvantaged is our priority.

The institution channelizes its human, financial and physical resources towards fulfillment of high quality academic work. The D.V.R. Institutions are marching ahead into the new millennium by adopting a strategic plan for providing necessary infrastructural facilities for institution building and human resource development. It intend to collaborate with industries / institutions to engage in creative generation of ideas that go towards innovative development. This would establish linkages between industry and institution.

Introduction : Dept of Chemical Engineering DVRCET is conducting a national level technical symposium QUIMIKONZ -2K11 on march 15th and 16th. The objective of the event is to spread the latest knowledge & advances in Chemical Engineering for Petro chemical refineries, Fertilizers, Drugs Pharmaceuticals, R&Ds laboratories & Environmental safety. Quimikonz-2k11 comprises of technical events and spot events. Technical events: Paper Presentations, Project expo,Workshops,Short films,Robotics and Poster presentation. Sport events:Cricket,volleyball,basketball,table tennis,throw ball for girls and many more spot events.
