JAMMU & KASHMIR – RMST NATIONAL WORKSHOP 2011 – KASHMIR UNIVERSITY

The diversity and evolving trends across disciplines has always baffled researchers worldwide. Research in different disciplines is advancing with changing times and fading disciplinary boundaries, so are the methods and techniques in exploring and developing various intricacies. This complexity in research canvas has made the methods more composite and multifarious. Thus, in order to maintain dynamic and appropriate platform during research, investigators need to constantly examine the trends in research as well as the methods that can make them more intelligent and well informed consumers of information and knowledge to document , assimilate and ultimately infer fruitful results and innovations. The ICT dependant world has offered new choices and opportunities in the research endeavor. New research practices have been established in many disciplines and this dramatic shift in the research paradigm calls for a platform to make them aware of the growing trends and approaches. Thus, the present workshop endeavors to focus on the current trends in the research methods and techniques to help in enriching the research skills of participants.
