CHAITANYA BHARATHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY – TECSTASY TECHNICAL FEST 2011 – HYDERABAD

TECSTASY welcomes all the budding, aspiring & successful technical stalwarts of Information Technology and Computer Science. It is one of the best technical symposiums in India and a prestigious gathering of Professors and promising Engineers. In the past, IT department has organized TECSTASY’10, a two-day National Level Technical Symposium, on April, 2010. The various activities of the Symposium were COGNOS (Technical Paper Presentation), VITRUVIUS(Project Presentation), D-BUG (Debugging), ACUITY (Technical Quiz), MEDHA (General Quiz), HEAT SINK (informal Events), and expert talks by eminent people, etc,. Top Forty-eight technical papers were selected for presentation out of the 500 received from different states like TamilNadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, etc.

In the past, IT department has organized TECSTASY’07, a two-day National Level Technical Symposium, on March 16-17, 2007, as part of CBIT Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The various activities of the Symposium were COGNOS (Technical Paper Presentation), VITRUVIUS(Project Presentation), D-BUG (Debugging), ACUITY (Technical Quiz), MEDHA (General Quiz), HEAT SINK (informal Events), and expert talks by eminent people, etc,. Top Forty-eight technical papers were selected for presentation out of the 300 received from different states like TamilNadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, etc.

In TECSTASY’06, a two-day National Level Symposium, March 9-10, 2006, a Work Shop on ‘Robotics’ has been added, which received overwhelming response. More than 500 technical papers from different states like TamilNadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, etc., were received, out of which 60 papers were selected for presentation in the proceedings of the Symposium.

Tecstasy Overview : TECSTASY’2k11 is conceptualized with an aim to rejuvenate ideas and induce technical flavors in the students. Apart from the technical scope, the event will also witness the participants getting exposed to semi-intellectual prospects such as YOUNG MANAGER (platform for proving managerial skills), online gaming contests, etc. Tecstasy,the National Level Technical Symposium and the flagship event of the Department of Information Technology at CBIT, has evolved along with the department since its very inception. TECSTASY ‘2k11 ,a quest for knowledge ,is an endeavor to build a centre stage for sharing knowledge and learning among various academic institutions across India.
