UNIVERSITY OF CRANFIELD – MBA MAORI SCHOLARSHIPS 2011 – NEW ZEALAND

Cranfield School of Management is delighted to offer scholarships for outstanding New Zealand Maori to undertake the Cranfield MBA programme. The scholarship is open to anyone of New Zealand Maori origin (New Zealand citizen or permanent resident) who is committed to empowering Maori economic development and who intends to return to work in New Zealand within a reasonable time after completion of the MBA. The scholarship may be applied for in two ways. Firstly on an individual basis. Secondly, in partnership with a sponsoring organisation. In the latter case Cranfield will match the sponsor’s contribution up to £14,000, but the sponsor’s contribution has no limit.

Programme : Full-time MBA

Award Value : up to £14,000

Number of Awards : Up to 2

Requirements : There is a parallel application process – application for entry onto the MBA programme and application for the scholarship.

Application Procedure : For the programme, complete and submit your MBA application form to Cranfield in the normal way, by 2 May 2011. Successful applicants will then be interviewed for their eligibility for entry by telephone, unless they are able to visit Cranfield. The School will confirm offers of places within a few days of the interview.

For the scholarship, complete a separate scholarship application form by 31 May 2011. Successful applicants will be short-listed and interviewed by a panel including a Cranfield alumnus and a Maori representative. Interviews will take place in June 2011 in Wellington, Auckland or London; other venues may be arranged. The decision will be made shortly thereafter.
