CHENNAI – INTERNATIONAL PROJECT EXHIBITION & CONTEST 2011 – VELTECH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

VEL TECH Group of Educational Institutions was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service, Dr.Rangarajan and Dr.sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing Industries and International Trade. What took off as a modest school now stands as a monument of glory for “Chennai city”. A student volume of above 12,000 throng the various educational institutions of VEL TECH group. Through sheer hard work and principled living, the couple has been able to make these institutions highly successful by offering 59 courses including post graduate courses.

Introduction : Visai is designed to explore the International Project Exhibition and Competition with the participants from all over the world. The purpose of this conference is to present existing technological knowledge and stimulate discussion on future possibilities and developments.

Eligibility : Students studying in Engineering / Technology Programmes with ability to demonstrate their innovative project work at VISAI PLATFORM in the form of oral presentation & with a physical /simulation/ virtual model.

Mechanical stream -Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Civil & allied
Electrical stream – ECE, EEE, EIE & allied
Computing stream – CSE, IT, MCA & allied
Biochemical stream – BioTech., BioMed., Chemical & allied

Prize Details :
First Prize : 25,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
Second Prize : 15,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
Third Prize : 10,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
