FORE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT – PGDM ADMISSION 2011 – NEW DELHI

The two-year full time PGDM programme is designed to prepare the future managers:
* To have comprehensive understanding of the corporate world
* To integrate the theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects of organizational settings and techniques of management
* Evolve with the dynamic and complex working environment
* To acquire conceptual and analytical abilities required for effective decision making

Instructional Methodology : An optimum mix of lectures, case discussions, group discussions & presentations, seminars, management games, sensitivity training, management films, industrial visits and interactive sessions with corporate professionals.

Duration : 2 Years

Eligibility : The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks, of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail or minimum of 3 years of education after completing Higher Secondary Schooling (10+2) equivalent. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination in the year 2011 can also apply subject to furnishing the proof of graduation by October 1, 2011.

How to Apply : All candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. For further details please refer to the CAT advertisement that has appeared in all the leading newspapers on 22nd August 2010. Candidates can apply on the prescribed Application Form available at FORE School of Management as well as at 100 selected branches of AXIS Bank by paying Rs. 1600/- by cash. Admission brochure, list of Axis Bank Branches & Pay-in slip can be found at the end of this page. Candidates can also apply online. For online application submission candidates need to pay Rs.1650/- either through credit/debit card or can send the Demand Draft made in favour of “FORE School of Management”, payable at New Delhi along with the print of the E-mail confirmation of the application submission. Candidates applying under Company Sponsored Category need to download the format given below, fill up and send it to us.

Selection Criteria :
* CAT percentile and academic performance components are used for short listing candidates who apply to FSM.
* Final selection is based on CAT percentile, academic record, performance in group discussion & interview and relevant Work Experience.
