PUNE – STYMBIOSIS NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST 2010 – DEEMED UNIVERSITY

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Written test is a mandatory for admission into any Post-Graduate programme offered by the constituent institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Post-Graduate programme of that Institute.

Stage-1: SNAP Test
* Register online at www.snaptest.org
* To upload a latest scanned photograph of own at the time of SNAP Online Registration.
* Follow the instructions for payment for Test fee of Rs. 1550/- on above website.
* Any Changes in the online application form may be made only up to the closing date of Registration i.e., Friday, 26 November 2010. No change is permitted after Friday, 26 November 2010, under any circumstances.
* All disputes between candidate and the Symbiosis Test Secretariat shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Pune city and by Arbitrator only.
* From Monday, 7 December 2010, onwards till Sunday, 19 December 2010, download and print “Admit Card” from the website.[ www.snaptest.org ]
* Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof to be carried to the Test Centre at the time of test.

Stage-2: Submission of Application fee to the desired constituent institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University)
* Fee of Rs.1000/- as Institute Application fee to the chosen institutes as instructions given on institute website.
* To apply to an institute a candidate must register for the SNAP 2010.
* The SNAP website allows a facility for online payment for application fee for many of its constituent institutes along with online payment of SNAP fee. Complete the application procedure of the desired institute.
* Candidate can also apply from the institute website.
* Candidate can apply for more than one institute.

SNAP Test Structure :
SNAP Test duration is 120 minutes.
SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response.
Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

Important Dates :
SNAP Registration Closes on : 26th November 2010, Friday
Payment Closes on : 27th November 2010, Saturday
Admit Card Live on : 7th December, 2010 to 19th December, 2010
SNAP Test : 19th December 2010, Sunday (Time: 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm)
SNAP Test Result : 12th January 2011, Wednesday
