Course Information: The MCA programme is a 3 year post graduate programme aimed at preparing professionals for the Information Technology industry. The programme prepares professionals who have realtime experience and exposure, both theoretical and hands-on, on the latest technologies. In addition to the regular curriculum, there are periodic seminars, project works and assignments which enable the students to sharpen their skills.Some of the subjects covered include Digital Logic, Com Probability & Statistics Computer Programming and Problem Solving, Data Base Management System Computational Numerical Methods, Data Structure Lab using C++, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors, Software Engineering, Data Base Management System Project, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, JAVA & J2EE, LINUX Programming, Bioinformatics Lab.

Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and having studied Mathematics / Comp. Science / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Comp. Applications / Comp. Programming / Electronics / as a subject 10+2 or degree level.

Job Prospects: Successful graduates can look forward to working as System Analysts, Programmers, Network Engineer, Database Administrators etc. They may also pursue research or higher studies.

Assessment: The students are assessed based on their performance and involvement in practical lab work, project work and term end examinations.
