TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL – TMC-DM/M.CH COMMON ENTRANCE TEST 2010 – MUMBAI

Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai will conduct Admission Test on All India Basis at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai on Sunday, the 27thJune 2010 for the following DM and MCh programmes :
1. M.Ch.(Surgical Oncology). 4 seats(General), 2 seats (In-service)
2. DM (Medical Oncology) .. 10 seats(General), Nil

Eligibility :
DM : Post Graduate Degree (MD or equivalent) in General Medicine Or Pediatrics Or Radiotherapy recognized by MCI.

MCh : Post Graduate Degree (MS or equivalent) in General Surgery Or ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) Or Orthopedics Or Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Other requirement : Passed the MD/MS or equivalent in no more than two attempts.Secured an average of 55% marks or more in the III-MBBS (Part-2 subjects) examinations.Candidates currently doing any DM/MCh/DNB(SS) are not Eligible.
Application Procedure: The completed application form with all enclosures must reach the office of the Director, Academics, Service Block, 4th floor, R.No.215,Tata Memorial Centre, Parel, Mumbai-400 012 on or before 31.05.2010. The Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Tata Memorial Centre” payable at Mumbai of Rs. 2000/- (Two Thousand only) for DM and MCh must accompany the form.It is also mandatory to submit application online.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected for admission strictly based on the marks obtained in the MCQ, Viva and Prior academic achievements. In case of equal cut-off marks in the MCQ test, all the candidates with the same marks shall be shortlisted for the Viva. In case of equal marks in the final total the candidate with maximum experience in Oncology will be preferred and in the event of tie again, then maximum MCQ marks will be considered. Final merit list will be declared & posted on the TMH website. http://tmh.gov.in
