BPCL scholars are a group of India students who yearly, seek assistance from BPCL in doing their post graduation. BPCL supports the students, the future of tomorrow, the fuel of tomorrow?s growth with all humility and passion.
Currently we are inviting on-line applications from students who are pursuing higher studies in Universities/Institutes abroad for which firm admissions have been obtained for sessions starting between July 2010 and November 2010.
Eligibility: The scheme is open to
* Indian nationals.
* Students pursuing Post Graduate Degree Course Abroad.
* Students up to the age of 25 years (born on or after 1.05.1985), who have secured at least 60% at Graduate level.
* Students with confirmed admission to any full time Post Graduate Degree Course (in any field of education other than fine arts), for a duration upto two years, at any recognized University/Institute of repute abroad.
* Students pursuing higher studies in Universities/Institutes abroad for which firm admissions have been obtained for sessions starting between July 2010 and November 2010.
* Please note that the last date for submitting applications is 31st May 2010.
* Candidates awaiting results for graduation final year can also apply by mentioning the aggregate percentage obtained so far.
* Scholarship will not be given for any Research / PhD work.
* Candidates who are receiving part scholarship from any source should indicate the details, as requested in the on-line application form. This will not be a bar for consideration.
* Extent of scholarship awarded, i.e., full or part amount, shall be at the sole discretion of Bharat Petroleum.
Application Procedure: It is strictly advised that you download and print the scholarship application form. Complete it offline (as it requires a lot of data on hand) and then proceed to fill the application form online. This will ensure that the application form you submit is complete in all respects and you are able to fill it up online in the minimum possible internet time.

Submit Online Application: Before starting your online application process, please read instructions below:
* Besides the pre-qualification form, the application is segregated into 7 forms.
* You have to sequentially submit each form starting from form 1 to form 7.
* After completion of each form, you will get a confirmation screen with an option to go back and change the information just filled in.
* Clicking on the Final submit will not permit you to make any further changes on the form just submitted.
* If at any point of time, your internet connection fails, or for any other reason you are unable to complete submission of any forms, information in forms finally submitted will be stored against your application Id. You can re-login to complete the pending forms of your application. The application system will automatically take you to the next form yet to be submitted.
