GITM – B.TECH ADMISSION 2010 – ANDHRA PRADESH

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. Their mission was to set up a world-class technology and management institution in the picturesque city of Visakhapatnam to impart futuristic and comprehensive professional education of global standards with a high sense of discipline and social relevance in a serene and invigorating environment. The avowed objective of GITAM is to train qualified professionals to shoulder the responsibility of contributing to the development of India as a “Knowledge Society”.

Eligibility: The candidate should have passed (10+2) / 12th examination of a recognized Board in 2010 or 2009. (but not earlier) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or first class. For B.Tech. Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy, candidates with Biology are also eligible.
Admission Procedure: The filled-in application along with the DD for Rs.1,000/- (Rs.600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam from any scheduled bank, should be sent to the Director-Admissions, GITAM UNIVERSITY, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530 045, A.P., INDIA.

Online Tests at different Centres: 16-04-2010 to 05-05-2010
Announcement of Test Results: 10days after completion of GAT 2010 Examination.
