MUMBAI – SIESCOM – MCA ADMISSION 2010

SIESCOMS was established in 1995 with the primary objective of providing world class quality management education to budding professionals, to create managers for the 21st Century. SIESCOMS boasts of one of the best physical infrastructures befitting a modern B- School. Ever since inception, the academic programs of the institute enjoy full support and patronage of the corporate sector and all other stakeholders.

Introduction: Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) was introduced in SIESCOMS in the year 2001. It is three year full time programme affiliated to the Mumbai University. Spaning over six semesters, the course not only includes subjects that give a good grounding in the IT concepts, but also includes management oriented papers like ‘Principles of Management’, ‘Organisational Behaviour’ etc, thus preparing the student to be more competent to face the dynamic corporate world.The programme brings out professionals who are not only conversant with technology but also application oriented for various vertical domains.

Eligibility: As per guidelines of Mumbai University and DTE, State of Maharastra.
Fee Structure: The fee structure is decided by the Shikshan Shulk Samiti constituted by the Government of Maharashtra and thus varies from year to year. Fee structure for the current academic year (for academic session 2006-07). is Rs.73,500/- per year.

Duration: 3 Years

Admission Procedure: SIESCOMS is a linguistic minority students (Mother Tongue as one of the six languages namely Tamil/ Telegu/ Malayalam/Kannada/Tulu and Konkani for people domiciled in Maharastra) Hence 50% of the seats are reserved for the linguistic minority students.The remaining 50% seats are under open category.The admission is based on score of Maharastra CET and/or AIMCET.
