NIRD – HYDERABAD – PG DIPLOMA IN SUSTAINABLE RURAL DEVELOPMENT ADMISSION 2010
Admission Procedure: The international students would have to go through the following procedures for admission to the PGDRDM:
- Screening test scheduled in January 2010
- Sponsorship of apex organizations
- Sponsorship and leave of absence letter from the employer of the candidate.
- Orientation programme with focus on foundation courses in mathematics and English, if required well before the commencement of the Programme in August, 2010; Academic requirements and standards of PGDRDM; and Indian Culture, among others.
Duration: Minimum 1 year, Maximum 3 years
Medium of Instruction: English
Course Fee: Indian Students Rs. 1.40 lakh; International Students: US $ 6000
Application Procedure: The application form and Information Brochure can be had from Programme Co-ordinator, PGD-SRD, Distance Education Cell, NIRD, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030 in person on payment of Rs 500 (Rs 300/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) through a Demand Draft in favour of “National Institute of Rural Development” payable at Hyderabad. Request for Application form by post should reach along with self addressed stamped (Rs.10) envelope of size 12″ x 10″ by November 20, 2009. It can also be downloaded from NIRD’s www.nird.org.in. The application should be enclosed along with Draft of Rs.510/- (Rs.310/- for SC/ST /PH).
