IISER – PH.D ADMISSION 2010 – THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
Introduction: Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for admission to the PhD program in IISER Thiruvananthapuram in the areas of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Interdisciplinary areas.
Eligibility: M.Sc. Degree in respective and allied disciplines or Graduates in Engineering, Medicine and Postgraduates in Agriculture with an aptitude for research. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination should be 60% and the candidate must have a valid GATE/NET/JEST/ICMR/DBT-JRF/NBHM examination. Satisfying the minimum qualifications does not entitle one to be called for the interview.

Registration: Every selected candidate has to register for the Programme at the beginning of each semester by paying the prescribed fees.
Last Date for receiving completed application: 10th November, 2009.
Duration: The duration of the PhD Programme is 8 semesters.
Fee Details:
One-time Fees: Approximately Rs. 10000/-
Every Semester : Tuition Fee: Rs. 6000/- per semester
