Delhi Police, DCP/Recruitment, New Police Lines, “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033” and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Exe.)-Male in Delhi Police-2009” or “Application for the Post of Women Constable (Exe.) in Delhi Police-2009 ”.

DDelhi Police, Applications are invited to fill up 6303 vacant posts of Constable (Executive)-Male and 416 vacant posts of Women Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police under the following categories:

1. Constable (Exe)-Male :
No of Post : 6303 posts (UR-3182, OBC-1702, SC-945, ST-473),
Age Limit : Between 18 to 21 years as on 01.07.2009.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200 to 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board. Graduation Certificate issued to ex-serviceman from the Army/Navy/Air Force of Indian Union will also be acceptable for male candidates.
Relaxable upto 11th pass for:-
(i) bandsmen, buglers, mounted constable, drivers, dispatch riders etc. of Delhi Police.
(ii) sons/daughters of serving, deceased, retired police personnel/Group ‘D’ employees of Delhi Police.

STANDARD OF PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT
CONSTABLE (EXE)-MALE:
HEIGHT: Minimum 170 cms.
Relaxable by 5 cms for:- Residents of hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunanchal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K (Candidates claiming this relaxation would have to produce a certificate to this effect (Hill area certificate) from the competent authority i.e. DC/DM/SDM or Tehsildar of their place of residence at the time of Physical Measurement Test) ST Candidates. Sons of Delhi Police personnel/Group ‘D’ employees either serving, retired or deceased.
CHEST: Minimum 81 cms to 85 cms. (The candidate is required to have minimum 81 cms chest in an unexpanded state and with expansion it should be minimum 85 cms.

2. Women Constable (Exe) :
No of Post : 416 posts (UR-211, OBC-112, SC-62, ST-31),
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009. Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200 to 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board. Graduation Certificate issued to ex-serviceman from the Army/Navy/Air Force of Indian Union will also be acceptable for male candidates. Relaxable upto 11th pass only for daughters of serving, deseased, retired police personnel/Group “D” employees of delhi police.

WOMEN CONSTABLE (EXE):
HEIGHT: Minimum 157 cms.

Duly filled-in application forms and Ref also Employment News/Rozgar Samachar on 07.11.2009. Demand / Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque should be sent through ordinary post to “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033” and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Exe.)-Male in Delhi Police-2009” or “Application for the Post of Women Constable (Exe.) in Delhi Police-2009 ”. On Or before 28.11.2009.

Fees: A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque of Rs. 100/- should be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi).
