Introduction: The Fellow Programme in Management was started with the objective of developing outstanding scholars for careers in teaching and research at leading business schools and management departments of universities. To accomplish this, the Programme provides students with academic knowledge and research skills that make them specialised researchers, with adequate depth of knowledge in various knowledge-domains of management.

FPM / EFPM Eligibility Criteria: A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with aBachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR) Five year integrated Masters Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (OR) A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60%marks or equivalent grade point average (OR) 4 years / 8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average. Those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply. For EFPM, a minimum of 10 years of managerial / executive work experience is required. The minimum age for the EFPM candidate is 35 years as on 1st January 2010.
Selection Procedure: Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE / UGC-JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) will be shortlisted on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of aforementioned tests. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for interaction with Area faculty followed by Personal interviews on 20 – 30th March 2010 at MDI Campus.

Application Procedure: The Information Brochure and Application Form shall be available on payment of Rs. 750/- in cash at Admission Office, MDI Campus or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 850/- in favor of the Management Development Institute, payable at New Delhi, if by post, from 23rd November 2009. Applicants can also apply online and send the DD of Rs. 850/- by post. The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form at MDI is 29 January 2010.

Duration: The programme shall be completed within 3 years from the date of registration, which may be extended by another one year subject to merits of the case and favourable review of work progress by the FPM Committee.
