The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry of HRD ,New Delhi and affiliated to the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training ,Govt of Orissa . Eligibility: For admission to the 1st semester Diploma courses candidates who have passed /appeared the 10 th class examination conducted by BOSE, Orissa or equivalent examination are eligible to appear the Diploma Entrance Test .However at the time of counseling candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e 10th standard examination securing pass mark in both math & sc conducted by Board of Secondary Education ,Orissa or its equivalent are only eligible for admission (Certificate to be produced during counseling)
Admission Procedure: As per DET entrance test rule and admission procedure of Govt.DET refers the Diploma Entrance Test conducted by the state of Orissa for admission to different courses of the Engineering Technology.
Reservation of Seats: The reservation policy of Govt. of Orissa and the Government approved procedure given in the brochure shall be strictly followed for allocation of seats. Counseling shall be done for all seats of Government Engineering schools / polytechnic and also for 85% seats of private engineering school / polytechnic, subject to approval of Government. The rest 15 % seats shall be filled up as per the principle to be followed for JEE, admission. Admission is strictly based on the DET merit rank and choice of the candidate with respect to Institution and course given during the counseling subject to availability of seats.
