Visakahpatnam: The Andhra University in association with the Nippon Care-fit Service Association Centre for Gerontology, Japan is conducting a three-day gerontology international synthesis conference from today.
The conference is scheduled to be inaugurated by former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The conference is being organized with the theme "youth is a gift - age is an art". This is for the first time the conference is being held outside Japan.
The keynote address will be delivered by Edward F. Ansello President of International Gerontology Association and a professor from Virginian Commonwealth University.
A book written by HoD of Psychology and organising secretary of AU-NCSA centre M.V.R. Raju will also be released by Dr. Kalam.
