New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the DOEACC Society and the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) for examination and certification of ITES - BPO (Banking).
The MoU was signed by Dr. S. Birendra Singh, Executive Director,
DOEACC Society and Mr. R. Bhaskaran, Chief Executive Officer, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Mumbai in the presence of Mr. Jainder Singh Secretary, Department of Information Technology.
Speaking at the occasion Mr. Jainder Singh said, "The MoU signifies a concrete step towards fostering closer co-operation between the two organizations from diverse domains such as Banking and Information Technology".
"This cooperation between DOEACC and IIBF will help to advance mutual interests in the rapidly evolving fields of information technology, information services, telecommunications and banking", further said Mr. Singh.
DOEACC and IIBF have joined hands to collectively meet the challenge and contribute to quality curriculum and learning materials to generate industry ready human resource.
The DOEACC Society is an autonomous scientific society under the administrative control of Department of Information Technology, mandated with carrying out Human Resource development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT) and has been operating various courses in both formal and non-formal sectors through its own centres / branches located at 18 places all over the country as well as through accredited institutes in Private and Public Sector.
IIBF is a professional body of banks, financial institutions and their employees in India and has been pioneering various banking and finance qualifications, viz., JAIIB, CAIIB, Diploma and Certificates in specialized areas.
